Once the admissions arrangements are confirmed, they’ll be published on our website and will stay there for the whole offer year (the school year when places are offered). Local authorities must publish these by 15 March 2026.
Parents and guardians will be able to apply for school places under the new arrangements from September 2026 to January 2027. School allocations will be issued in accordance with the new criteria from March 2027.
In September 2027 the first cohort will be admitted under the revised arrangements.
