Help shape the future of library services

We’re developing a new strategy for our libraries and we’d like to hear your views.

Libraries play an important role in our communities. As we plan for the future, we want to better understand how our libraries are currently used, what residents value most and what library services we should focus on in the years ahead.

Your feedback will help us develop a draft library strategy, which will be publicly consulted on later this year before any decisions are made.

Why are we doing this?

Like many councils, we need to make sure library services continue to meet the needs of our communities, while making the best use of available resources.

Before developing a draft strategy, we want to hear from everyone, including current library users, people who don’t currently use libraries, parents and carers, children and young people, older residents, community groups and organisations.

By taking part in this survey, you’ll help us understand what matters most to residents and what should be prioritised for the future.
