Wellbeing services survey

We might need more help managing our lives as we get older. We might have a disability and need regular help day-to-day.

We know it's important that people get the support they need at the right time, and that early action and local community support helps people live well, doing the things that matter to them.

In April 2027, the services which local charities and community organisations provide, to support health and wellbeing of residents (aged 18yrs+], will reach the end of their current funding with us.

We’d like to hear from you, and about your experiences. Help us ensure the right services receive the right funding in future. We would like your views on current services, to find out:

  • Which of them are working well?
  • Which could be improved?
  • Are there gaps in services?
  • Do you have any other ideas?

If you need help with this survey, you can telephone our Customer Services team from 9am to 5pm on 0118 974 6000, or drop in to one of our libraries. Paper copies, electronic copies and an easy read version are available on request.

Review responses. Hold workshops

30 September 2025 - No end date

In September 2025, we held two workshops to talk about the wellbeing services that charity and community groups provide with funding support from us.

The events brought together residents, community representatives, and members of our team.

Using information from this survey, data about current services, and types of support people may need in future, the workshops discussed:

  • What’s currently working well
  • What could work better
  • Where there could be service gaps

A big thank you to everyone who came along to the workshops. They helped create a welcoming and open space for sharing ideas and experiences.

Now, we’ll work with other key stakeholders, including local charity and community organisations, to gain their insight.

Moving forward, recommendations will be reached on which services should receive funding from us in future. And in 2026, we will invite organisations to bid for new funding.
