Help us make engagement better for everyone

We want to understand who we’re hearing from when you take part in our surveys and consultations. This helps us see who we’re reaching – and who we’re missing.

You may know we’re developing a new Engagement and Consultation Strategy. Your input will shape how we communicate with and involve residents, making sure we reach groups who don’t usually get involved. 

How can you help

Please take a few minutes to update the ‘About You’ section in your Engage Wokingham Borough profile. Adding your demographic details means we can make sure every voice is heard – including yours.

Here's how to do it:

Log in to the hub – the questions should appear as a pop-up or banner. If not, follow these steps:

  1. Once logged in, click your name in the top right corner.
  2. A pop-up will appear - select 'My settings' or 'Complete profile'.
  3. Fill in your demographic details, such as your age, gender and where in the borough you live.
  4. Don't forget to click 'Save'.

You can also choose whether to receive notifications about consultations, including when they open, close or move to a new phase.
