Proposed Off Street Parking (Amendment 6)

What are we proposing?
We’re proposing amendments that will:
- Support the redevelopment and improvement of council-managed parking facilities
- Keep legal records for parking and service areas accurate and enforceable under the Civil Parking Enforcement framework
- Help us manage parking areas safely and effectively, in line with our legal responsibilities under the Traffic Management Act 2004
What does this mean for you?
There will be no reduction in the total number of public parking spaces. These changes are designed to ensure that parking provision continues smoothly in the affected areas, while helping us improve how these spaces are managed.
