Proposed 30mph limit - VARIOUS ROADS

The purpose of this Traffic Regulation Order is to propose speed limit reductions to 30mph at the below locations:
- Biggs Lane, Arborfield - From its junction with Commonfield Lane, north-westwards for a distance of approximately 50 metres.
- Park Lane, Finchampstead - From a point approximately 25 metres north-east of its junction with Palmer Place, northwards to its junction with Commonfield Lane.
Extending the 30mph speed limit beyond Palmer Place on Park Lane to provide a safer speed environment for upcoming housing developments. The extension of the 30mph speed limit beyond Commonfield Lane on Biggs Lane will provide a lower speed environment at the junction and along a route used by school children and other pedestrians accessing nearby educational facilities. The proposal will improve road user safety by encouraging lower vehicle speeds in an area with increased pedestrian activity associated with nearby housing development and school-related journeys.
- Stanlake Lane, Twyford - From its junction with the B3024, south-wards for a distance of approximately 50 metres.
- Waltham Road, Twyford - From its junction with New Road and Stanlake Lane, east-wards for a distance of approximately 65 metres.
- New Road, Twyford - From its junction with the B3024, north-wards for a distance of approximately 30 metres.
Extending the 30mph speed limit beyond Ruscombe Lane, to cover the crossroad related extents as per map, will provide a safer and lower speed environment to improve road user safety of the crossroads.
