Proposed 20mph limit - VARIOUS ROADS

The purpose of this Traffic Regulation Order is to propose speed limit reductions to 20mph at the below locations:
- Eastheath Avenue, Wokingham - For its entirety.
- Reeves Way, Wokingham - For its entirety.
- Heath Close, Wokingham - For its entirety.
- Eastheath Gardens, Wokingham - For its entirety.
- Thorpe Close, Wokingham - For its entirety.
- Crail Close, Wokingham - For its entirety.
*Please note that Godwin Close is not included in this proposal as it is a private street.
These roads serve a residential area with regular pedestrian activity, including safe routes to the nearby school and playing field. The presence of children and other vulnerable road users makes lower speeds more appropriate, helping people to move around the area more safely and confidently. The proposals also respond to ongoing concerns raised by residents about vehicle speeds in residential streets. A 20mph limit will help create a calmer, safer environment and encourage walking and cycling within the community.
