Proposed Parking Restrictions (Amendment 3)

Ward members and residents have raised road safety concerns with us about drivers parking at junctions and bends at various locations across the borough, as well as inconsiderate parking at school pick up and drop off times.
The purpose of this proposed Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) is to introduce and amend parking and waiting restrictions at specific locations where we think it necessary in the interests of road safety, by preventing parking where it may obstruct visibility or create hazards for drivers, cyclists and pedestrians.
The proposed TRO includes the following:
Double yellow lines: no waiting at any time
- Arborfield – Princess Marina Drive, Rowcroft Road, Sheerlands Road
- Earley – Shepherd’s House Lane, Suttons Park Avenue, Sutton Close, Culver Lane
- Finchampstead – Hatch Ride
- Shinfield – Cirrus Drive, Chestnut Crescent
- Spencers Wood – The Square
- Twyford – Broad Hinton, Hurst Road
- Wargrave – Purfield Drive, Victoria Road
- Winnersh – Allnatt Avenue, Bathurst Road
- Wokingham – Elizabeth Road, Murdoch Road, Peach Street, Pyke Close
- Woodley – Butts Hill Road, Hurricane Way, Lysander Close, Selcourt Close, Western Avenue, Wroxham Road
Single yellow lines: no waiting
- Twyford – Colleton Drive
- Woodley – Western Avenue
Limited waiting bays
- Earley – Suttons Park Avenue, Hilmanton
- Wargrave – Victoria Road
- Wokingham – Outfield Crescent
Disabled Parking Bays
- Wokingham - Peach Street
No Loading
- Wokingham – Murdoch Road
Restricted Parking Zone – No Loading

Interested parties are invited to send their comments or objections in writing or via the survey to the Traffic Management team, where they are assessed by an officer as part of the democratic process.
