Volunteering Roles in Wokingham Borough

We have lots of exciting opportunities at our libraries and use volunteers on a regular basis to provide a range of additional services to residents. Take a look at the roles below and you can email us at: volunteer@wokingham.gov.uk if you want to find out more information before applying for a particular role.

Volunteering benefits the library service and makes a huge difference in the local community. There are also a range of personal benefits, including meeting new people, developing skills and gaining experience for your CV and having fun while making a difference to your local community.

Please note that some roles have a minimum age requirement. Training and support is provided to all volunteers. We are also open to prospective volunteers who may be interested in starting clubs and activities at our libraries.

Once you have registered your interest in one of the below roles, we will be in touch to let you know what the next steps are.
