Let's Talk Climate

We declared a climate emergency in 2019 and produced an ambitious action plan to play our part in tackling the crisis.

We want to work together with the community to review our plans and come up with new ideas to improve the borough's carbon footprint.

The process will be delivered by experienced facilitators and will offer two ways for the community to be involved:

  • Small peer groups (circa ten people each) who will meet twice
  • Public survey (e-panel) open to everybody

Expression of interest for peer groups

Expressions of interest to join the peer groups to open. Please complete the expression of interest below, which will be available from 6 to 20 January.

Groups are expected to be:

  • Young People (Primary School age) & Parents
  • Young People (Secondary School age)
  • Teachers
  • Residents (a representative and inclusive cohort including BAME residents)
  • Voluntary Sector & Community Organisations
  • Businesses
  • Town & Parish Council Clerks
  • Council Officers
