Help shape our homelessness strategy

We are developing a new Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy for 2026 to 2031 and we want your views.
This is your opportunity to help shape the priorities that will guide how we prevent and respond to homelessness in Wokingham Borough over the next five years.
Whether you have been directly impacted or are simply interested in your local area, your feedback matters. You do not need specialist knowledge to take part.
The consultation is straightforward and you can choose which questions to answer.
Why we're asking for your views
We have already carried out detailed work to understand homelessness locally.
- In March, we completed our Review of Homelessness 2026, looking at local pressures, causes and trends
- We identified six draft priorities for the next five years
- We have engaged with council services, housing teams, voluntary and community organisations, and professionals working with people who are homeless or at risk
This early engagement has been essential in shaping our thinking.
Now we want to make sure these priorities also reflect the views and experiences of our wider community before they are finalised.
