Help us shape a safer Wokingham Borough

We’re working on a new strategy to improve community safety and reduce serious violence across Wokingham Borough — and we want to hear from you.

The strategy brings together the Community Safety Partnership and Safeguarding Adults Board so that we can better prevent harm, respond early when concerns arise, and make sure support reaches those who need it most.

We previously asked for your feedback to help inform our draft strategy. We heard that theft, burglary, drug use, drug dealing, fly-tipping and littering concerned our residents most, and that there is a call for stronger enforcement and policing. You can read the full report here.

We’re now ready to share our draft strategy, which includes six priority areas, and a delivery plan that sets out our intended impact and outcomes for these priorities and our two statutory duties.

This strategy will guide our work from 2026 to 2031, helping make the borough a safer place where people feel protected, supported and connected.

Please take the time to look through the strategy and have your say.

Why your views matter

Your feedback will help inform any changes to the strategy document and actions. After this survey closes, we’ll use your responses to finalise the strategy and delivery plan, which will go before Executive later this year.

How to have your say

You can have your say on our six key priorities, our two statutory duties and on the actions we will take to achieve them. We want to know how clear the draft strategy and delivery plan are and if we have missed anything.

You can also read and comment on the full documents:

There is a glossary in the Delivery Plan.
