Help shape Adult Social Care in the borough

We are developing a new Adult Social Care Strategy and we want your views to make sure it works for everyone.

Adult Social Care is the help and support provided for adults who may need it because of age, illness, disability or other needs, so they can live the life they choose. This may look different depending on the person's needs. It could include help at home, equipment or adaptations, support for carers, support to stay independent, supported housing, or residential care. We currently support around 2,000 people.

The new strategy will set out our priorities for the next five years.

It has been shaped by feedback gathered through co-production and engagement over the past three years, including more than 1,300 survey responses and over 400 conversations, workshops and meetings. We listened to residents, people with lived experience, carers, staff, providers, community organisations and partners to understand what matters most to people and what needs to change.

Now we want to hear from you.
