The new names will be displayed on vehicles when they go into service in June as part of our updated waste and street cleansing contract with Biffa.

Winning bin lorry names:

  • Binderella (Gorse Ride School Year 3)
  • Binnie the Pooh (Amelia & Annabelle, Hillside Primary)
  • Trash Gordon (Jack, Loddon Primary)
  • Obi Wan Binobi
  • Recyclosaurus Rex
  • Bindiana Jones

Winning street sweeper names:

Prizes and visits to the winning schools will take place later this year.

The new fleet includes modern in‑cab technology to support safer, more efficient and more cost‑effective services.
