Council Plan 2025-2030
Help shape our future

Welcome to our formal consultation on the Council Plan. This is an official strategic document that outlines our goals and priorities, which we aim to deliver over the next five years (2025-2030).
This survey is to consolidate and help finalise the future of Wokingham Borough and will allow us to understand your priorities and help shape the final council plan. Following the consultation, we will continue to work with you to help deliver our priorities.
For a quick and easy way to contribute, we invite you to complete this brief survey. It will only take a few minutes but will provide us with valuable insights to help us gain a deeper understanding of your priorities and the services we provide for our collective future.
This survey will remain open until Monday 3 March.
If you need help taking the survey, please contact customer services on (0118) 9746000 or drop in to your local library.
Phases
Formal Consultation of council plan 2025
From the last survey which took place in the summer and after extensive feedback and careful consideration, we have streamlined our themes from five to four, recognising that "thriving" is a fundamental aspect woven into every facet of our work. This change reflects our commitment to creating a holistic and integrated approach to our strategic plans.
Our journey to this point has been deeply collaborative. We have engaged in over 500 interactions to shape this plan, incorporating insights from public engagements at libraries and town centres, resident surveys, and staff focus groups. These sessions have provided us with a comprehensive analysis of community needs, allowing us to prioritise effectively for the next five years.
Our themes – Fair, Green, Safe and Connected – encapsulate the core areas where we can make the most significant impact. We have listened to our partners and residents, and we are committed to addressing the priorities they have identified.
We want to share these priorities with you and seek your feedback. Your input is crucial as we move forward, ensuring that our plan not only reflects the needs of our community but also benefits from the collective insight of our residents.
