Community Infrastructure Levy Charging Schedule – proposed changes

We’re consulting on a Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) Draft Charging Schedule.

CIL is a charge applied to most new developments. The money from it is used to fund infrastructure, such as new roads, schools and green spaces, to support growth.

We adopted our current CIL Charging Schedule in 2015. This consultation proposes some changes – supported by evidence, including a viability assessment and information on infrastructure costs.
