Celebrating community champions with the Mayor's Honour Awards

Do you know someone who has made an exceptional difference to the borough?

The Mayor's Honour Awards 2027 is now open for nominations.

The annual awards invite residents to nominate adults, young people and community groups. The Mayor will then review the submissions and present awards to the chosen recipients at a ceremony held in the spring.

There are up to six adult and community group awards and up to six junior awards presented by the Wokingham Borough Mayor.

Cllr Rob Comber, the current Mayor, is looking for people who have gone above and beyond. No deed is too small. Even an everyday action can be a great example of dedication and selflessness.

If you know someone who deserves recognition, submit your nomination below.

We will ask you to tell us why you are nominating them and collect a few details about you and your nominee.

Nominations close on 31 December. The awards ceremony will take place in March. Successful nominees will be contacted in advance with details about their award and the event.
