Borough bus services

Our contracts with the bus providers who run the buses across Wokingham borough are ending in the new year.

This provides us with an opportunity to improve the services and your feedback will help us do this.

We are currently reviewing bus services across the borough and seeing where we can make changes to improve the overall bus network.

We have some changes that we think would improve the current services and would like to hear your thoughts on the survey below. The survey is open until 16 January 2022.

Key changes:

  • Overall, there will be more buses with a new service, 126, suggested for the new housing areas in North Wokingham.
  • We are looking to make some changes to services that aren't used frequently, such as the 124.
  • We are looking to adjust the route that serves Norreys.
  • We are looking to make route adjustments to the Saturday Twyford to Maidenhead service.
  • We are looking to make some minor changes to the Leopard services 3, 8 and 9 with a potential for an hourly service between Arborfield and Wokingham
