Aviation Museum car park
Car parking charges are being proposed at the Museum of Berkshire Aviation, at Dinton Pastures Country Park.
We are proposing this change to bring the museum’s car park in line with charges for other car parks at the 350-acre country park.
The introduction of car parking charges at this car park was approved by the council as part of our 2024/25 Medium Term Financial Plan.
It means car parking will be fair and consistent for visitors to our country parks. Plus, it will enable us to continue to invest in the wider visitor experience.
Ahead of the proposal, we’ve been working with the museum and groups and organisations who use it as a base. They will be able to continue to park for free at the museum car park.
Following the proposed changes, visitors will be able to park there for free, for drop-off or pick-up, for up to 15 minutes, which is the same as at Dinton Activity Centre car park.
You can share with us your written feedback on all of the above. To do so, you have until 12 midnight, Thursday 3 July 2025.
