Paul Stevens5 years ago The Government has announced a new fund to support "Landscape Recovery" projects. It is hoped it will lead to "fundamental land use change" creating new woodlands, restoring peatlands, and other "intensive interventions". Local landowners should be encouraged to use some of their land for "rewilding" projects. At a smaller scale all residents with a garden could pledge to leave a part of their garden to grow wild. E.G. Leave old logs and leaves where they fall and let the weeds and grass grow as they wish. The best part of this idea is it requires very little effort ;-)

Make a Jubilee Crown or a Tiara, a Jubilee place setting, or paint a rock for the Royal Scavenger Hunt on Sunday in Arborfield Park. (See below). Tool, materials and refreshments provided, you bring your imagination.
