Emily Richards4 years ago I fully support this proposal to expand and develop existing and new facilities at the school. I would like to see investigation into the congestion generated by cars at drop off and pick up to see if anything can be done to better manage the volume of traffic. Every secondary school has a traffic problem, however the volume of stationary/idling cars particularly at the afternoon collection blocks the A321, and causes significant dangerous risk-taking behaviour with cars driving fast down the wrong side of the road to get past the school, and the children that do walk home have to do so through the exhaust fumes of a long line of idling cars. Can a greener policy towards transportation to and from the school be developed, especially with school places to increase?
