Celebrating the Coronation of His Majesty The King in Wokingham Borough

We are inviting Wokingham Borough residents to view and share their celebrations for His Majesty The King's Coronation on our platform. Take part by clicking 'Share your Coronation celebrations' on the right hand side or visit the page here.

Across the Coronation weekend, there will be opportunities for people to come together in celebration of the historic occasion. See below for more information.

View the borough's road closures

We have made it easy for residents living in cul-de-sacs and roads to hold street parties by waiving road closure charges during the Coronation bank holiday weekend of 6, 7 and 8 May 2023.

Free road closure applications have now ended (16 April 2023) and the approved roads have been added to our interactive map.

View our map by clicking 'View the borough's road closures' on the right hand side to see the road closures in place. There's also an option to download a PDF too.

If your road closure is listed on the map, don't forget to share your celebrations on our page here.
